Changes of Lecture Schedule
My earlier lecture schedules may have to change due to some inevitable changes to my work place. By early March I may have to move to somewhere far, and it is not possible to commute to UiTM Perak. However, it is my intention to complete the syllabus before I leave. In order to do that, the following schedules will take effect from next week (commencing 16th February 2009).

MS WORD PRACTICAL 3
The aim of this practical task is to introduce students to the general concept of mailmerge. By understanding the features, student should be able to apply the skills and knowledge to their future assignments. In this exercise, students will prepare a letter based on mailmerge.pdf. Download sample letter files and print it, for ease of reference in class.
For the data files student should download the source data from bidder.xls. Save the file as bidder.xls in the appropriate folder.
Merge the documents into two categories of letter. One set of letters to be sent to Air conditioning supplier (where PROJ=AC) and another set to Computer suppliers (where PROJ=PC). To do that, student should apply IF...THEN...ELSE in merge documents.
After merging the documents, student should save the new merged information into a files named as STNO.doc where STNO is your last four digits of student's ID. Attach the file with your email and submit to QSD135+1X@gmail.com, where X is your group notation. Subject for the email is (STUDENT NO)+MAIL MERGE.
